Erwin Lopez: Director & Pastor
Erwin is originally from Venezuela and his dad is from Guatemala. He felt a calling to ministry when he was 22 years old in a small church across the street from his house in Miami, Fl. His community saw gifts in him before he even saw them in himself. And for this he is forever grateful and therefore passionate about community and helping Christians grow closer to God and one another. After his life was flipped upside down by Christ he graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from FIU and worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for two years after college. He then moved to Durham, NC to finish his Masters of Divinity at Duke Divinity School. He was a pastor of two small churches in Lakeland before moving to Orlando to lead Wesley. He loves basketball, all things Miami, his family, cooking and his wife Charity. And he also loves being the Pastor at Wesley, it's his ministry dream come true.

Charity Lopez: Associate Director
Charity is a UCF graduate in Elementary Education. She taught first grade for seven years before joining the Wesley staff in the summer of 2013. Charity is passionate about outreach and working with college students. Her favorite part about Wesley is meeting new people and watching them get connected and passionate about Christ. When she is not working at Wesley she loves to spend time with her husband, Erwin, as well as close friends and family. In addition, Charity likes to hang out on Park Ave, eat at locally owned restaurants, sit by the fire and roast marshmallows, watch and play sports - Go Gators! dance, and host game nights. A famous person that she is most like is Sandra Bullock because she loves to act silly and make people laugh. God is the most important relationship in her life and her favorite story is the parable of the prodigal son because we are all like the son and God is always waiting for us with open arms.

Richie Hartig: Assistant Director
Though originally from Massachusetts, Richie has spent most of his life in Central Florida. He started coming to Wesley during his Sophomore year at UCF and immediately felt something unique and different about the ministry and it’s community. Soon thereafter, he got plugged in with Wesley making videos, playing with the worship team, and organizing pick-up games of football and ultimate. It was during this time at Wesley that Richie began working with Youth Ministry and began to further develop his love for students of all ages, God, and a community that incorporates both - whether at Wesley or at youth group. As a recent UCF graduate, he looks forward to pouring back into a ministry that has allowed him to grow through the strength of Christ-centered community. To Richie, of the best parts about any student ministry, is watching students overcome self-doubt and realize (and actualize) their own potential. Hobbies/interests include: photography, sports of any kind, especially tennis, food, games, and improv comedy.

Tiffany Staral: Assistant Director
Tiffany was born and raised in Oviedo. She is a recent graduate from UCF with a degree in Elementary Education. She attended Wesley all four years while at UCF. Throughout those four years she has grown a love for ministry. She first got involved with outreach where she loved being able to put a smile on someone’s face and bless their day. That love for serving others transformed into finding a passion for missions. She has been on six mission trips with Wesley thus far (both locally and globally) to places like New Orleans, the Bahamas, and Costa Rica. One of her future goals in life is to learn Spanish and continue traveling around the world serving others and spreading the love of Christ. She is continuing to discern her call into ministry. Working at Wesley doing both outreach and missions is a dream job of hers. Aside from Wesley, Tiffany loves all sports; anything from football and volleyball, to kickball and softball. She also likes the beach, eating Hispanic food (and corn), llamas, and getting coffee with friends.
Ally Nichols: Worship Leader
Ally (born Allycia Marie Jawarhela Nichols) is a native Iowan. Yes, the state with all of the corn. Although she only lived there for 6 weeks, she identifies with them the most. She is currently a Film major with a Creative Writing minor at UCF (don’t ask her what she wants to do with it, she has no idea). She has a strong passion for music, and is incredibly blessed to get to lead such a wonderful congregation in worship. Her favorite part of Wesley is getting to see new students flourish through worship, community, and outreach. In her spare time, Ally loves to read, write, binge watch Netflix, eat mashed potatoes, research dinosaurs, and do yoga. Ask her about her current project; writing the ultimate screenplay that combines the classic cult movies Jurassic Park, Home Alone 1, The Land Before Time, Back to the Future, and Left Behind, expected to hit theatres Christmas 2020.

Erin Parker: Student Intern
Erin is a native Orlandoan - born and raised in Central Florida. Growing up in a large church setting her whole life Erin came to Wesley as a Junior at UCF and to her it felt like a breath of fresh air. It was a new place where she felt she could challenge herself and encounter God in a brand new way. She loves the smaller community and how Wesley truly feels like home, like family. She is passionate about making people feel loved and included through Christ. Erin has been involved in youth ministry since high school and mentoring students is a big part of her life today. Full-time ministry has been a newer calling on her heart and something she has grown more and more excited about through this internship. Coming from a big family, Erin loves just hanging out and doing fun things with anyone and everyone. Some other stuff she loves to do: anything artsy, explore the great outdoors, jump on trampolines, travel. She especially loves the beach, and would stay in the water forever if she could.
